Your thoughtful words never cease to amaze...Ashley,
Your thoughtful words never cease to amaze and inspire me... and on several occasions bring tears to my eyes.
What a beautiful, and truly inspiring and uplifting post for mommas of all kinds.
You are a blessing to many people. Thanks for sharing this encouraging post! :)
I know several mommas worth mention.. but for time sake.. I will mention my older sister:
She is a momma who for years desperately wanted a baby of her own, but could not conceive due to PCOS. She was hurt and sad, but always leaned on God and knew his timing was best.
She is a momma who went into foster care. And brought many children into her home who had rough lives and terrifying stories. She nurtured and cared for them, and showed them the love of God.
She is a momma who ended up adopting 4 of these foster children! One only 10 years younger than herself!
Her and her husband love them as if they had, had them their self.
She is also a momma who adopted a 5th child, a new born baby girl and thrilled to be raising all 5 of her children!
It wasnt exactly the normal way one gets a family! But she is amazing with them. And she knows had she been able to have her own children.. she never would have considered foster care or adoption. What a blessing she is, and an inspiration. Letting God use her for HIS will and purpose, rather than her own original plans. He did give her the desires of her heart, just not the way she was expecting it to happen.
And THAT IS MOTHERHOOD! :)Maria-Isabel @ Agape Love Designshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05701539888649776172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3727368894424244969.post-64369668966030138092010-03-22T08:43:25.926-07:002010-03-22T08:43:25.926-07:00tears in my eyes....thanks Ashley. This baby is not genetically hers in anyway, yet she is nurturing and growing it in her body for the next 6 months, and then will give birth and present this couple with their very own brand new baby. Now that's a momma!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03761169473042770971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3727368894424244969.post-88973708001069313392010-03-20T14:59:33.059-07:002010-03-20T14:59:33.059-07:00I know a momma who gives her all to an adorable li...I know a momma who gives her all to an adorable little boy. She would trade places with him in a nano second when he hurts or is afraid. She is teaching him to live life to its fullest and love others unconditionally.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3727368894424244969.post-18721211406174510222010-03-20T06:36:28.225-07:002010-03-20T06:36:28.225-07:00I love this blog! She always made our holidays special and I miss the little things like Easter baskets and Christmas stockings from her. Even while fighting cancer, she was so excited about her coming granddaughter (my daughter). She continued to teach and make a difference in schools as long as she could.

Moms mean the world. And I'm so thankful I had the time I did with mine.@JessEscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04564630921806580046noreply@blogger.com
