I'm Here to Stay {and a DISCOUNT}

Little Miss Momma: Etched in Stone
{and a DISCOUNT}

{Shirt: Gap, Necklace: Jessica N Designs, Camera Strap: Mel V}

MOMENT OF PURE HONESTY:
Sometimes, Little Miss Momma has one of those days.
The one's where I feel like giving up.
Like throwing in the towel.
Where I ask myself, can I make this work?
Where I wonder, is this a blessing to my family or a burden?
Do I know what I'm getting myself into?
Can I please everyone--do I even want to?
Am I prepared for the crazies and the meanies that will come out of the woodwork?

And sometimes, just sometimes a negative attitude
and a doubting conscious
get the best of me,
and I convince myself to "call it quits".

But only for a moment.

Because then I check my inbox that minutes earlier I was stressing over,
and I smile, as I read your messages...

Because your words assure me that I am not alone,
that you have all been there before.
That on some days,
each and every one of us has our doubts,
questions our potential.
But that doesn't mean we stop.

And your words remind me why...

WHY I do this.
WHY this matters to me.
WHY this is totally worth it.
WHY I am NOT going anywhere.

So when I received my new Jessica N Designs necklace on a day when I was having one of those moments,
I chuckled at the irony.

Little Miss Momma is etched in stone now!
{actually, it's sterling silver}

But the point is,
I'm here to stay.

And this necklace is my reminder of WHY!

What's YOUR reminder of why it's all worth it?

A Big Big thank you to Jessica N Designs,
for my adorable necklace.

Jessica's shop is overflowing with little beauties that I want oh-so-bad!
Ladies, seriously, you're gonna want to send your
"significant other" here for Valentine's Day!

And Jessica is giving ALL Little Miss Momma readers
a BIG OL DISCOUNT:
15% OFF

{type in the coupon box at checkout}

I {heart} my LMM necklace by Jessica!

She is adorable.
And she is about to give birth at any moment.
Seriously, like she could actually be "pushing" at this very moment!

I kinda don't give a damn what anyone thinks about you because I honestly and truly think you are super fantastic. And it's not because I think you are perfect, it's because you are who you are. You stay true to that. You don't try to hide anything. I love it. If I ever come to California for a vacation can we meet?l

okay, first of all...that is SOME belly on her! my goodness.
I'm guessing a 9lb baby in there :)

Also, when you express yourself like this, it makes me realize I need to stick it out through these moments too.
I often feel like a small ant in a world of blogs, and I wonder if it will ever be "worth" it.
Then I remember the purity, and love I have for the blog and why I started it in the first place (which was before I even KNEW about what was out there, blogwise).
Thank you for always being so transparent. It makes me feel good about myself, and I hope that in turn makes you feel good about yourself (we can just go back & forth with the feeling of goodness).
THANK YOU!
Sarah

You are just about the most adorable young lady I have run across in a very long time. I've been where you are and my journey is a bit further along. I have a Freshman at Cal Poly SLO and a Sophmore in High School, but I can relate to you. You are filled with joy and creativity and make me smile. Don't ever give give up...you have way too much to offer to all around you!

I think you and I have similar personalities where one negative comment or unpleasant customer can send us into a tailspin. I keep almost all of my kind emails from customers in a file so that I can look back through them when I doubt or am having a hard day. I'm glad LMM is etched in stone now ;)

You guys are all so so sweet!
I promise I am TOTALLY over last weeks "debbie downer"!

This post was a bit more in reference to how sometimes, when you are doing a good thing, so many things in the Universe try to convince you otherwise. And we all need reminders that "what we do matters"!

ANNNNDDDD, about how we all need to buy a little pretty from Jessica N Designs, hehe!

xoxo,

ah...there are those days.
but when you look back on it doesn't it make you feel like an awesome warrior? the best part is that we are never alone in it. when we feel like we are alone, there is someone having the same moment...trust me. it wasn't until i started venting about it and blogging about it did people come out of the wordwork. it's like some big secret, that if we admit we are having a bad day we are a bad mother, wife, friends, daughter, sister, etc...

if we all just stood on our tip toes and yelled...'HEY! HELLO! COME OVER HERE! WE HAVE FAULTS TOO! I BURNT MT MEATLOAF TONIGHT AND THE BABY POOPED ALL OVER THE SHEETS AGAIN AND INSTEAD OF CLEANING THEM, I JUST THREW THEM AWAY BC IT MADE ME FEEL BETTER!' Think of the bond we could have. I encourage the vent, I encouage the encouragement, I encourage a pity party every once in awhile. I encourage some recognition...

From what I can read you are an awesome little miss momma. and you know with that wreath you made, when you lose it, when you flip out and take it out on your husband you could like put that on his pillow, or at his place at the table...your peace offering...if you will.

and as far as the style, great minds think alike.

I feel like we have so much in common...like we could hang out and be good friends.... sometimes I have to re-read something to see if you really posted exactly what I think or feel about whatever random topic. It is pretty cool! Thank you for being you.....even on a bad day you are so fun!

Thank you for being YOU, for being open & honest... don't change because of other influences...keep doing what you're doing because that's why we're all such faithful followers! There may be meanies out there, but know that there are also a huge bucket of us that will never ever judge you! xoxo

Ashley. I love you. You are freaking awesome. You are the best blogger in the world. I love it because you are REAL. I have had this problem with other bloggers sometimes who pretend like they have these perfect cookie cutter lives and so its really refreshing to read blogs that aren't that way! I like when you share deep thoughts and help us remember that we ALL have trials and hard days. You are a reminder that what we do DOES matter and not to let others bring us down. Thanks for always keeping it real. You are what inspired me to write things on my blog that are more real and you have inspired me in so many ways! I love your blog, I check it first thing in the morning, right after my email! :)

Love the necklace too! I might have to go buy one!!

Little Miss Momma you are way too cute to ever give up. When you are doing what's right the devil always tries to discourage you...don't be discouraged. Your blog encourages people all over the place. I think we would be BFF's if we ever met. Too bad I live in Canada. Know that you encourage me all the way in the great white north as I work at being the best Mommy, blogger, and encouragement to others! :) Awesome necklace...I am soooooo jealous!

PS. Your Mom is way too cute with her comment. My Mom can't even figure out how to become a follower of my blog. Haha!
