Silhouette Machine

Software for Windows XP/Vista

2 Cutting mats (one for thick media, one for thin media)

Cutting blade

$10 gift card to the Silhouette Online Store

For those of you who don't already know, the Silhouette is the "ish" when it comes to craft supplies. This puppy does EVERYTHING!

Cuts out any shape you can dream of, etches glass, cuts vinyl and stencils, draws elaborate designs, creates scrap booking supplies, makes temporary tattoos, magnets, creates custom apparel and MORE!

And the BEST part--you don't need to worry about forking over the doe to buy dozens of expensive cartridges {when you really only like a handful of the designs on a cartridge anyway}!

Unlike other craft cutters, the Silhouette works with your PC {and MAC's} allowing you to download and pay for only the designs you love--not to mention many digital images are already included and you can use files saved on your computer! How great is that?!

I am so in love with my new Silhouette machine that I pretty much kiss it goodnight before I go to bed--seriously! And I can't wait to put together some fun projects for you guys!

I came across your blog just a few weeks ago and LOVE it! I'm totally addicted...thanks for all your inspiration (and chuckles!). Unfortunately I don't have a blog and I'm not on FB but I'll enter for the Silhouette here. The first project I would do would be the vinyl decals on the wall. It's what makes a home "homey"! Then I would do some glass etching...or maybe spruce up my scrapbooking pages. Regardless, I would have fun with it! Have a blessed day!

I am envious of all of the word art that I see made out of vinyl letters...that's what I'd want to make first. Then I think I'd need to make some of the cupcake wrappers! I just love them!
Keeping my fingers crossed!

Well first of all let me say that I'm OBSESSED with the silhouette and I have been dying to have it for some time now! Well I tried to narrow down what I would do first but there are too many things I want to do with it! I love sewing so I might try some heat transfer projects but then again I just got married so maybe I would make some vinyl letters to spell FAMILY and frame it. Our new place is pretty barren right now. I also am IN LOVE with the glass etching. Seriously, how cool is that? Its amazing! Okay ahhh, I can't narrow it down. I have problems with wanting to do too many crafts!

For my 1st project... I would decorate my 3 boys' nursery. Right now it is a dark brown and terribly depressing. Not to mention small. We don't spend much time in there. I would brighten up the walls, add some fun shapes and put a few words on the wall. Now that's what I call fun :)
