I'm so clever {or am I pathetic}

Clever or Pathetic?
{am I the only one, you can be honest}

Wanna know a secret?
So I was asked to make a salad for an activity at our Church tonight.
I made a super girly one--you know the kind {leafy greens, pears, grapes, candied walnuts}.

And just so people would be super impressed, I included my famous raspberry vinagrete dressing!

STEP ONE:

STEP TWO:
And no one at the activity will be the wiser
{that is, until they read this post}

Very clever! I have done that before with a pie... just took it out of it's package and claimed it was my own. I mean who has time to bake a pie anyways- or make homemade salad dressing??? And what is this Trader Joes? Is it a west coast grocery store? I've seen other things with the TJ brand, but we don't have that in little 'ole South Carolina

Listen, I do that all the time. Breads, pie, dips...anything. It's all homemade, ok!?!? :)

Bahahahaha CLEVER! This is absolutely fantastic! I once made corn bread muffins from that little blue box and I was asked for the recipe because this person was "very picky about her corn bread" and really liked mine. I didn't have the heart to tell her I mixed the packet with water and baked. haha

This year our ward had a chili cook off for Halloween and Paul signed up to participate. The afternoon before the event he walked to the restaurant across the street and bought all of the chili they had, poured it in our crock-pot and off we went! If it saves time and it tastes just as good what's the difference right?!

Oh I definitely do stuff like this, no worries. Like the time my sister and I made pillsbury orange rolls and took them to a baby shower and everyone was raving over them and asking for the recipe. Or the time I was supposed to make pasta salad for a ward FHE and I bought some from the store and poured it into a bowl. I could go on and on. Love your blog, it's too cute for words.

Actually giggled aloud at this one!

Single people have time to cultivate raspberries and make them into dressing. Once you have children, people are impressed that you found time to make the salad.
