Little Miss Momma: Rainy Days = No Guilt

Rainy Days = No Guilt

There are many reasons I love rainy days like today.

They bring back carefree childhood memories
of jumping in puddles
constructing gutter sail boats,
and sliding in the mud.

But the biggest reason I love the rain,
is that on days like today
I don't feel guilt.

I don't feel guilt if I decide to stay in my pj's all day.
I don't feel guilt for not going out in public.
I don't feel guilt for eating an entire bag of Doritos.
I don't feel guilt if I decide to curl up on the couch and cuddle with the TV on for oh lets just say 8 hours straight.

And, as many of you know,
in the life of a Momma
we'll take a guilt-free day anytime we get it.

I love hot soup and warm tea on rainy days! And baking warm cookies that MUST be eaten while still fresh out of the oven in order to fight the cold weather outside.

Plus, I will never complain about sweats and uggs all day long!

Couldn't agree more! I looove rain. Switch out Doritos for Puffy Cheetos and you described my perfect day. Especially the guilt free part.
(but running in and out of church in the rain wasn't so fun today)
So so so great to hear you and meet you yesterday. You are even more adorable in person.
Hoping we can meet up again sometime soon.
xo,
Mique

I JUST told my hubs that I wish it would rain so I wouldn't feel guilty for staying in my pjs and doing NOTHING all day today!! Lucky for you, you actually do have the rain. I've just got the mama-guilt...

I looove a good rainy day! Not only do I love the smell/sound of rain, but the laziness that seems to fog over our house is nice too. ;)

Oh I think the best thing about a rainy day is cuddling on the couch with the hubs and a blanket watching college basketball {making sure my bracket is still doing well, this is my first year doing a bracket and im surprisingly into it and doing well. Pat on the back} and not having any worries. Btw: I ate half a bag of doritos today. Neat.
You are a doll and I think I need some blog tips from you!

Rainy days are pretty sweet. They give an opportunity to stay in, snuggle up, read a book, have a fire, watch a movie, play some family games without feeling obligated to leave the house and run errands.

I love rainy days for the reasons you mentioned, reading a book, sitting on the couch watching Lifetime movies all day, etc.

I just have to say that you are so wonderful! I met you and your blog at BBC, listened to you talk, and have been reading all through your blog. Your little one looks JUST. LIKE. YOU!
Reading new blogs is like a day at Disneyland!

I love making pancakes for breakfast, not feeling the pressure to go outside and enjoy our typically perfect weather, taking a nap with my chickies, and having the perfect excuse to make a run to Target. So great to meet you at Bloggy Boot Camp!

Oh how I wish I could make a rainy day a guilt-free day, but since I live in the Pacific North West, that would mean most days would have to be guilt free :)

I love cuddling up in bed with my 2 girls and watching TV. Also love having hot chocolate or a warm bowl of homemade soup. Rainy days are great (as long as you don't have to go out and drive long distances).

Everyone deserves a guilt free day!! Unfortunately for us here in the Pacific NW we have rainy days for um, about every day straight for 9 months. I get so sick of the rain. And I can't have guilt free days everyday.

Love your slippers!
