Home Alone and it feels so...weird

Home alone.

For the first time in longer than I can remember.

A list of "To Do's" a mile long--and now's my chance to cross them off without a toddler grabbing my ankles or the hubby asking me where we keep the dish towels for the 30th time this week {love you hun}.

Laundry.

Clean out the fridge.

Answer emails.

Vacuum.

But there's something oddly paralyzing about the emptiness and silence of my home.

Something that has me wandering in circles in and out of every room in my house--instead of getting to my "list".

I only have a few hours before the hubby and kiddo get back, only a few hours to get as much done as humanly possible.

But I'm lost.

Maybe I should just let "the list" go for tonight.

Maybe, just maybe I'll take some time for ME.

Hmmmm. What should I do?

Read a book, paint my nails,go on a run {yeah right}, take a bath.

What to do, what to do...

Hey I know, how about one of those green masks I used to do all the time before I was a Momma--that used to be fun!

Yep, I think I'll try that...

And then I'll take pictures of it...

and then I'll blog about it...
and then I watched Sweet Home Alabama.

 Because that's productive.

And because people really care.

Maybe I should have just done the laundry.
