Burlap and Vinyl Calendar and Menu Board

Burlap and Vinyl Calendar and Menu Board

Staker Sensations is the rad vinyl Etsy shop I told you about when I made "the Naughty Spot".

Well, Staker Sensations also sent me a super cool calendar decal so I could whip up a fun project. I headed over to Joann's where I picked up a poster frame {they are currently 50% OFF}!!!  Then I pulled out some burlap, some extra scrap booking alphabet stickers and I got to work creating my Calendar and Menu Board.

Here's what you do:
Apply your vinyl calendar following the instructions included with your order.

Leave enough room on the side of your poster for the Menu board.

Pull out your burlap and lay the frame backing over the top of the burlap.

Cut the burlap around the frame backing leaving about 1/2 inch of extra material around the border.

Wrap the burlap around the frame backing and tape down.

Put your frame back together {with the burlap going where a photo would go}.
Now use your scrap booking alphabet stickers to create your Menu Board on the other half of the poster.  Now you can use a dry erase marker to fill in your schedule and meal plan.

Super simple and the perfect way to keep your schedule in order.

If you want to make your own you can head over to Staker Sensations to order a vinyl calendar at a great price!

Stopped by from tatertots and jello. What a great idea! this is just what I need for my kitchen, as I am always writing our meal plan on little scraps of paper that then gets lost. I have enjoyed reading about your project, and would love your thoughts on mine.
